Vintage Prom Dresses

This is not your grandma's prom dress -- or, maybe it is. ;) Vintage Prom Dresses are very hot and a great choice for someone who doesn't want a run-of-the-mill Cinderella prom dress. Vintage designs include wonderful fabrics such as lace, chiffon, tulle, and taffeta. Vintage clothing can be sweet and romantic, but it can also be flirty and sassy.

The first two dresses pictured here are from the collection at Rampage. Rampage has sizes from 3 to 13, but not all dresses are available in all sizes. If you see something you like and they have it in your size, I strongly recommend not waiting until the last minute to purchase. Rampage has vintage minis, tea-length, and full length replicas.

Another great place to find vintage dresses (and vintage replicas) is eBay -- eBay is an auction site. If you find an item you like, you bid on it. The person with the highest bid wins the auction and buys the dress. eBay is great for finding original designs and unique pieces, but you do have to sort through each dress looking for one that you both like and is the right size.
