Beer Box Hat

As your faithful blogger, I am nothing if I am not on top of the latest fashions, the haute couture, the fashionista's fetishes -- well step aside jelly kelly handbags, pink diamonds, and vintage prom dresses, for today I bring you, my faithful readers, the beer box hat.

beer box hat That's right, the beer box cowboy hat (pictured) is made from an honest-to-goodness beer box. The hats are the brainchild of Pete Montana, who came up with the idea while attending a country music concert. Seems one of his friends, with no lampshade available, placed an empty beer box on his head. Me, I probably would have said "Give me your car keys, now..."

But not Pete. Creative Pete envisioned the best of both worlds for beer and hat lovers: the beer box hat.

The hats are machine stitched, reported to be durable, and come with sizing instructions. Bud fans, however, will be terribly disappointed to learn that some polyester suits at Anheuser-Busch have requested that Pete no longer make his creations using their beer boxes -- obviously, the upper echelons of Busch know nothing of fashion.
