Cat in the Hat Cake

It all started with a search for a Cat in the Hat cake pan, but it ended with finding some ultra-nifty cake decorating supplies for creating a Cat in the Hat Cake -- without the ever elusive cake pan.*

The design you see to the left is "sugar art" -- an edible "applique" you simply place on the cake. Moisture from the icing blends with the sugar art making you look like an artistic genius... or that's what I'm counting on.

Top off the cake with this set of red and white striped candles and a Cat in the Hat candle holder. Or add more Seuss fun with the cupcake decorations shown to the right.
