Mood Rings

mood rings I had a mood ring as a teenager and when I bought it, I thought it was going to be a magical mystical experience of self-enlightenment.

Then I discovered that the color of the ring seemed to be directly related to body temperature. hmmm... okay, so it wasn't a mystical experience, but it was still pretty cool watching it change colors.

And now you can get the classic oval (yep, that's the one I had), a heart-shaped "stone", or one with a filigree setting.

Mood ring color meanings:

  • Black: Anxious, Excited
  • Amber: Nervous, Tense
  • Amber/Green: Troubled, Uneasy
  • Green: Sensitive
  • Blue/Green: Relaxed, Calm
  • Dark-Blue: Happy, Love

Well, I don't sell any mood rings, so I'm guessing you think someone else's mood ring "sucks".

Is it the $5.99 ring discussed above that disappointed you?

Purple is generally (in the world of mood rings) associated with either sensuality or romance.
